Donut-shaped inflatable plug

Inflate Works designs develop and produce in-house custom made (inflatable) applications. The basis for development is a specific complicated technical problem, where no "off the shelf" solution is available.

In this example Inflate Works made a donut-shaped inflatable plug, placed around a flange, to close a channel.

Industrial shut off valve

The pressure in the donut-shaped plug is 2 bar. The plug is in contact with various gaseous components in low concentrations at room temperature, like aromatase, benzene, toluene, methanol, xylene, styrene, and etcetera.

On request of the client, the plug is inflated through a car tire air-valve.
